Tuesday, November 9, 1937MRS. E. G. MILLER OF ST. CHARLES DIES
St. Charles-(Special)-Nov. 6. Mrs. E. G. Miller, 78, an old and highly respected citizen of this community passed away Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Daniels after an illness of several weeks from cancer.
She is survived by seven children; Mrs. Lizzie McDaniel of Lisbon and Albert Miller of Grand Rapids, South Dakota, Mrs. Susie Hogue of Peru, Mrs. Retta Lathrum of Ankeny, Mrs. Daisy Daniels, Mrs. Etta Bouton and Alva Miller of near St. Charles and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Miller passed away last January.
Her funeral was conducted by Rev. Rector on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church with burial in the St. Charles cemetery.

Mrs. Joanna Miller, Widow of the late Elias G. Miller, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Daniels, last Tuesday,
Funeral services were held at the Christian church in St. Charles last Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. O. V. Rector, assisted by Rec. Elmer Patterson. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
Miss Joanna Wagner was married to Elias G. Miller June 24, 1875 and had lived on the farm in South township over 57 years. Her husband died February 10, 1937.
She is survived by seven children, Mrs. Elizabeth McDaniel of Lisbon, North Dakota; Albert Miller of Grand Forks, North Dakota; Mrs. Daisy Daniels, Mrs. Retta Boughton, and Alva Miller of St. Charles; Mrs. Etta Lathrum of Ankeny; and Mrs. Susie Hogue of Peru. Mrs. Elda McDaniel of Lisbon, North Dakota, died in 1935.
