ESTELLA HERREN DIED ON MONDAY

68-Year-Old Woman Dies At Her Home in Macksburg

Mrs. Coyt Herren died at her home in Macksburg Monday, Nov. 14, at the age of 68 years.

Mrs. Herren was a life-long resident of that community. She was the former Estella Frances King, daughter of William and Mildred King, and was born in Monroe township on Feb. 9, 1892.

She was married to Coyt Herren on Feb. 23, 1910. They observed their Golden wedding anniversary this year.

Mrs. Herren was a member of the Methodist church at Macksburg.

Surviving are her husband, Mrs. Mildred King, four children: Mrs. Lois Phillips of Adel, Mrs. Mildred Eyerly of Macksburg, Mrs. Eva Brady of Des Moines and Ralph Herren of Macksburg, three brothers, George King of Lorimor, Kenneth King of Des Moines and Eaton King of Winterset; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday from the Macksburg Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Donald Frank. Burial was to be made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.

Stella Herren, Macksburg, Dies

MACKSBURG—Mrs. Stella Herren, 68, died suddenly at her home near Macksburg early Monday. She was a native of Madison county and had lived in the Macksburg community most of her life.

Funeral services will be held at the Macksburg Methodist church at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday. Rev. Donald Frank, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Macksburg cemetery. Hed (sic) body is at the Watts-Soll funeral home at Lorimor.

Mrs. Herren is survived by her husband, Coyt; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Phillips of Adel, Mrs. Mildred Eyerly of Macksburg, Mrs. Eva Brady of Des Moines; a son, Ralph of Macksburg; he mother, Mrs. Mildred King; and three brothers, Kenneth of Ames, Elton of Winterset and George of Lorimor.
