Had Spent Practically All of Her Life in That Community
Mrs. C. W. Sweesey, life-long resident of Madison county, died at her home in Truro December 18 at the age of 79 years.
She was the former Melinda Elizabeth Creger and was born November 10, 1858 in Madison county. On April 22, 1877 she was united in marriage to James C. Houlette. They were the parents of one daughter, Mary Agnes. Mr. Houlette died in 1911, and on March 14, 1914, Mrs. Houlette was married to Charles W. Sweesey.
Mrs. Sweesey spent her entire life in the Truro community with the exception of one year in Idaho. She was a member of the Christian church.
Nearest surviving relatives are her husband; her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Scott of Truro; and her brother, P. A. Creger of Payette, Idaho.
