MRS. FLORA TAYLOR BURIED ON TUESDAY

Elderly Woman Succumbed Last Saturday at Clarinda

Mrs. Flora Taylor, formerly a well-known resident of Winterset, was brought here for burial Tuesday following her death last Saturday at Clarinda.

Mrs. Taylor died with no known near relatives and little could be ascertained of her life history. She was a daughter of Sam Myers, formerly a well-to-do farmer of this community, and was reared on what is now the Bardrick farm in Douglas township. For most of her life her home was in Winterset, in a property where the Church of Christ now stands.

In recent years she had been an inmate of the Madison county home and last fall was taken to Clarinda. She was thought to be about 75 years of age.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Tidrick funeral home in charge of the Rev. W. P. Fink of the Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
