RAYMOND ELDON PETTIT

Raymond Eldon Pettit, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Pettit, was born September 12, 1920 and departed this life February 17, 1936. Raymond was an honest, peacable boy that was well loved.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his father and mother, three brothers and one sister. They are, Thomas, 12, Alta 10, Lilbert 7, and Sammie 4. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Iiams and Mrs. M. Pettit, besides other relatives and friends.

County Briefs - PERU

Raymond Pettit, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Pettit, died Wednesday morning, February 18 in the Winterset hospital following several months illness from heart trouble.

Rev. Wilkins conducted the funeral Friday afternoon from the Peru church and burial was in Peru cemetery.
