DEATH OF JOHN ROGAN

Veteran Farmer of Douglas Township Succumbed Last Monday

John Rogan, 81-years-old, died at the Madison county home last Monday.

Mr. Rogan had spent most of his life in Madison county, with the exception of a few years in Arkansas. For many years he operated a farm in Douglas township.

His nearest relatives are nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday from St. Joseph's Catholic church in Winterset, with requiem mass conducted by the pastor, the Rev. William Hahessy. Burial was in the Stringtown cemetery.

JOHN ROGAN DIES

John Rogan, 81, father of Bruce Rogan of Earlham, died at Winterset Monday night. Requiem mass, held at St. Joseph’s church in Winterset Wednesday morning, was conducted by the Rev. William Hahessy. Burial was in Stringtown cemetery.
