MRS. MARY M. ELLIS DIES AT 85 YEARS

Mrs. Mary M. Ellis died this Wednesday morning, May 28, at a Winterset nursing home. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Ellis was born at Altoona on Nov. 5, 1872, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Murrow. She was a member of the Christian church in Rising Sun.

Her husband preceded her in death. She leaves two sons, Lloyd (Pete) Ellis, manager of the Penn-Dixie plant at Winterset and Phillip Ellis of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

The body will be at the Richards Funeral home here until this Thursday, when it will be taken to Des Moines for services Saturday at 3 p.m. from the Hamilton Funeral home. Burial will be at Rising Sun.
