HENRY TROUB OF WINTERSET IS DEAD

Death Ends Two Years of Failing Health for Local Man

Henry Troub, a resident of Madison county since 1872, died at his home in Winterset, Saturday as the culmination of two years of failing health. He was 76 years of age.

Henry Troub was the son of John and Malone Troub, and was born at Mt. Pleasant on December 20, 1860. He came with his parents to Madison in 1872. They settled on a farm in Union township. After the death of his father, nearly a half century ago, they moved to Winterset, and he had made his home since that time. He had lived on West Green street for 36 years.

He was for many affiliated with the local chapter of the I.O.O.F.

The nearest surviving relative is a brother, George Troub, with whom he had made his home. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. M. R. Talley, of the Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
