Harold M. Carey, a life-long resident of the Winterset community, died this Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 62 years of age.
He had been an employee of Bernard Morrissey in the trucking and implement business here since 1934. Surviving are two brothers, Walter and Dean Carey, of this community.
Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Richards Funeral home for Harold M. Carey of Winterset, whose death occurred here Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Mr. Carey was 62 years of age at his death. He was born at Jewell on April 4, 1896, a son of Lyman and Emma Clearwater Carey.
Most of his life was spent in Madison county. He was employed at the Morrissey Implement company for many years, and engaged in farming.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving are three brothers, Walter and Dean Carey of Winterset and Edgar Carey of St. Charles.
The Rev. John Porath officiated at his funeral services Friday. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
