CLIFFORD ROBISON DIED SATURDAY

Life-Long Farmer Had Lived In Madison County For 58 Years

Clifford M. Robison, a resident of Madison county for 58 years, died here Saturday, May 31, at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Robison was born in Marshall, Ind., on Dec. 5, 1883, a son of Andrew and Sarah Stockdale Robison. His life was spent in farming and he came to Madison county 58 years ago.

He was married Feb. 11, 1906 to Winifred M. Frazier, at Winterset. They were parents of three daughters and two sons. Mrs. Robison died in 1943, and one son, Andrew in 1944.

He was a member of the Oak Grove E.U.B. church.

Surviving are the three daughters, Mrs. Ira Johnson and Mrs. Horatio Simmons of Winterset, and Mrs. Floyd Dennis of Peru; a son Curtis Robison of Winterset; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Clem Robison of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Mrs. Maude Walker of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
