MRS. NELLIE HARRISON BURIED AT MACKSBURG

Funeral services were conducted Feb. 24 from the Macksburg Methodist church for Mrs. Nellie Harrison, whose death had occurred Feb. 22 at the age of 79 years. Burial was made in Moon cemetery.

Mrs. Harrison was a resident of the Macksburg community since early life. She was a native of Illinois, where she was born at Kankakee on Sept. 16, 1878. She was a daughter of Charles and Augusta Coomans.

She came to Iowa as a girl to make her home with a sister until she was married, Oct. 26, 1898 to John G. Harrison. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Macksburg Methodist church and the Rebekah lodge.

Surviving are 10 children, Mrs. Essie Jorgensen and Clair Harrison of Winterset, Mrs. Ethel Gosse of Waterloo, Mrs. Georgia Crow and Leroy E. Harrison of Macksburg, Mrs. Dorothy Klingaman of Redfield, Mrs. Berniece Williams of Creston, Harold Harrison of Rockwell City, Paul Harrison of Hornick and Rex Harrison of Waukee. She also leaves 32 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Richards of Wyoming and Mrs. Mary Messino of Medford, Ore.
