Thomas Casper Corsbie, son of Simon and Miram Corsbie, was born March 13, 1873 in Warren county.
Departed this life on July 6, 1936 at his home in Monroe township at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 23 days.
On November 7, 1895, he was united in marriage to Mary Francis Little. To this union eight children were born, five preceding him in death.
At an early age he confessed his Saviour and remained in that faith until death.
He leaves to mourn his departure his faithful and loving wife, three children, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Zelpha Pickens of Peru, Mrs. Edith Wilson of Des Moines and Eugene Corsbie of Des Moines. One brother, W. L. Corsbie of near Winterset, five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ in St. Charles, by Rev. H. L. Olmstead at 2:30 p.m. July 8th.

Funeral services for Cass Corsbie were held at the Christian church in St. Charles, Wednesday at 2:30. Burial was made in the King cemetery.

T. C. Corsbie, 63, passed away on Monday at his home southwest of Winterset after a long painful illness from a cancer. He lived many years in St. Charles and he owned and operated a blacksmith shop and they still have their home here although they moved away several years ago.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs. Zelphia Picken of Peru and Mrs. Edith Wilson and Eugene Corsbie of Des Moines. Three sons and two daughters preceded him in death many years ago, all dying in infancy. Other members of the family are a brother, Will Corsbie and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Christian church in St. Charles conducted by Rev. Olmstead of Winterset, with burial in the King cemetery near Elm Grove.
