GEORGE ANDERSN Died On Monday

George Anderson of San Antonio, Tex., died Monday, March 10, 1947, at the Research hospital in Kansas City, Mo., where he had stopped, while enroute to Rochester, Minn., to undergo surgery.

Accompanied by his wife, Mr. Anderson was on his way by plane from San Antonio to Rochester when he became seriously ill as the plane stopped at Kansas City Tuesday of last week.

Mrs. Anderson is the former Agnes Melroy, daughter of Mrs. Ellen Melroy of Winterset. Mrs. Melroy went to San Antonio last week to care for the Anderson children, while their parents were in Rochester.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Anderson is survived by three children, Joe, June and Mary, and a brother.

Funeral services will be held this Friday morning in Waverly, Iowa, and burial will be made there.
