Funeral Services Planned for Friday at Collins Funeral Home
Mrs. E. H. Hart of Scott township died Tuesday, Aug. 22, at her home near Winterset. She was 59 years of age.
Mrs. Hart had been a resident of Madison county for 45 years of her life. She was born at Winterset on Jan. 13, 1902. She was the former Reba M. Ross, daughter of Perry and Ruby Ross.
She was married July 21, 1920, to Emmett H. Hart, who survives her.
Mrs. Hart took an active part in the affairs of her church, the Winterset Christian, and was a member of the Fellowship Hoosier Prairie and Holliwell clubs.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Forrest Hart of Des Moines and Harold Hart of San Anselmo, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Richard Henderson of Wauwatosa, Wisc., Mrs. James Peters of Waterloo, and Mrs. Jesse Perkins of Columbus Air Force base in Mississippi. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren; a brother, Rex R. Ross of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; and her step-mother, Mrs. Margaret Ross of Fowler, Colo.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial will be made in Union Chapel cemetery.
