MRS. HENRY MYERS OF WINTERSET DIES

Life-Long Resident of This Community was 76 Years of Age

Mrs. Henry Myers, a life-long resident of this community died Tuesday, May 21, at Memorial hospital here. She was 76 years of age.

Mrs. Myers was the former Mabel L. Rogers, daughter of Elihu and Martha Clark Rogers. She was born here Oct. 28, 1883.

She was married March 26, 1900, to Joe J. Smith. They were parents of two sons and a daughter. The husband, and the daughter preceded her in death.

She was married Nov. 1, 1938, to Henry Myers, who survives her.

In addition to the husband; she leaves the two sons, Clair C. Smith of Creston and Levi Bud Smith of Des Moines; a brother, Ross Rogers of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Christensen of California.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the First Christian Church of Winterset. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
