Funeral Services Set for Thursday, With Burial at Winterset
Alfred Leman Bennett, a well known farmer in Madison township for many years, died at his home there Monday, April 12, at the age of 85 years.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ola Bennett; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Hoskins; and two sons, James and Floyd Bennett both of Earlham. He also leaves one grandchild; one great grandchild; and two brothers, Vern Bennett of Earlham and George Bennett of DeSoto.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church.
Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery, with graveside service conducted by Evening Star lodge, No. 48, of the Masonic order.
