JOHN ABRAHAMS DIES AT AGE OF 89 YEARS

John Abrahams, member of a pioneer Madison county family, died at Winterset on Wednesday April 21, at the age of 89 years.

Mr. Abrahams was a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Abrahams. His early life was spent on a farm in Douglas township, but he had been a resident of Winterset for many years.

He had been blind since early life, and never married. He leaves no near relatives here.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Note: Correct spelling is Abrams.
