ANNA A. HARPER DIES AT 90 YEARS

Was Winterset Resident for More Than Three-Fourths Century

Mrs. Anna A. Harper, a resident of this community for more than three fourths century, died Sunday, July 31, at a nursing home here. She was 90 years of age.

Mrs. Harper was a native of North Carolina, where she was born at High Point on Nov. 1, 1869. She was the former Anna Amelia Frazier, daughter of William and Mary Brown Frazier.

She was married at Winterset on Aug. 16, 1891 to Isaac C. Harper. He preceded her in death, as did also one daughter.

Surviving are a son, Clark E. Harper of Eldora; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Hess of Creston; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a brother, G. E. Frazier of Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Boggs of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
