MRS. INUS POTTER DIED THURSDAY

Was Resident of Patterson Community During Entire Life

Mrs. Inus E. Potter, a life-long resident of Madison county died last Thursday, July 2, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was the widow of the late John Potter, whose death occurred July 14 of last year.

Mrs. Potter's life had been spent in the Patterson community. She was the former Inus Elizabeth Pace, daughter of Newsom and Eliza Grissom Pace, and was born in Crawford township Sept. 2, 1889. She was 69 years of age at her death.

She was married Dec. 7, 1910, at Patterson, to John Potter. They were parents of three daughters, Mrs. Roland Welch and Mrs. Wayne Estell of Winterset, and Mrs. Earl Augspurger of Lake Charles, La.

In addition to the three daughters, she is survived by three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Blosser of Patterson.

She was a member of the Patterson Methodist church.

Funeral services were held there Sunday, in charge of the Rev. W. C. Trembly. Burial was made in Mt. Pelier cemetery at Patterson.
