Wednesday, June 17, 1959H. T. HORTON DIED JUNE 5 IN IDAHO
F. T. Horton (typed as printed), one of the owners of the Horton Nursing home organization which operates a home near Winterset, died Friday, June 5, at Nampa, Ida. He was 60 years of age.
Born at Springview, Nebr., on Jan. 12, 1899, Mr. Horton spent his early life in Lincoln, Nebr. He served in the U. S. army during World War I. After the war he lived in Cleveland, O., and in Burton and Norfolk, Nebr. He moved to Nampa in 1954.
He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Horton of Nampa; five sons, William H. Horton of Twin Falls, Ida., Daniel A. and Paul F. Horton of Nampa and Richard and Dennis Horton, both at home; five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Morehouse of Bremerton, Wash., Mrs. Betty Cook of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Jo Ann Grim of Nampa, Mrs. Evelyn Carter of Winterset, and Marlene at home. He also leaves two brothers (siblings?), Leonard Horton of Hot Springs, S. Dak., and Mrs. Carlie Kirsch of Burton, Nebr.; and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 9 at Nampa, with burial made in Koherlawn cemetery there.
