FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT 35 YEARS

Alice Bea, eldest child of John William and Alice Barnett Lathrum, was born at Indianola, Iowa on July 7, 1923 and died on February 22, 1959 at the Ellwood City hospital in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania at the age of 35 years, 7 months and 15 days following a brief illness.

She grew up on the St. Charles community, attending grade school and graduating from the St. Charles High School.

In October, 1942 she was united in marriage to Edward V. Latiano at Omaha, Nebr. and has since made her home in Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jimmy and Mikie; her parents; one sister, Mrs. Mary June Adams of Owatonna, Minn.; two brothers, Louis of Indianola and Jess of Des Moines, also nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Burial was at the Locust Grove cemetery at Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. J. W. Lathrum and sons Louis of Indianola and Jess of Des Moines left Thursday, February 12 for Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, called by the serious illness of their daughter and sister, Mrs. Latiano.
