WIDOW OF TRURO PHYSICIAN DIES

Mrs. J. A. Hutchison's Death Occurs at St. Charles Nursing Home

Mrs. Harriet A. Hutchison of Truro, one of Madison county's oldest residents, died Saturday, Aug. 29, at a nursing home in St. Charles. She was 92 years of age.

Mrs. Hutchison was the widow of Dr. J. A. Hutchison of Truro, who died in 1935. She was born in Woodson county, Kansas, on Oct. 8, 1866, a daughter of Eli and Mary Miller but had spent most of her life in Truro.

She was a member of the Methodist church, and the Eastern Star at Truro.

She is survived by four sons, Otto Hutchison of Chariton, Jim Hutchison of Fulton, N. Y., and Ralph and Merrill Hutchison of Truro.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Truro Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Dale Lockart of Truro and the Rev. Clarence Moore of Clarinda. Burial was made in the Young cemetery at Truro.
