MRS. ROBERT GOSHORN DIES IN MISSOURI

Mrs. Robert C. Goshorn, former Winterset resident, died at her home in Jefferson City, Missouri, Wednesday morning, July 8th, after an extended illness. Lenore Goshorn, aged 66, was born in Winterset, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rhyno, and lived here, until her marriage to Mr. Goshorn, also a Winterset resident.

She was graduated from the State University of Iowa, at Iowa City, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, honorary scholastic fraternity, and Delta Delta Delta, national social sorority.

Mrs. Goshorn, since her husband's death, April 14, 1953, has headed the Jefferson City publishing and radio firm, serving as president and publisher of the News Tribune, and its radio firm, the Capitol Broadcasting company. She has also been an active member of the First Presbyterian church of Jefferson City, and headed the city park board, and other local projects.

Funeral services were held at the church, Friday morning, at 10 o'clock and burial was made in the Riverside cemetery in Jefferson City.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. William H. Weldon and three grandchildren of Jefferson City and a sister, Mrs. Loise Hamilton of Des Moines.
