GAILEN MEASE OF TRURO IS DEAD

Life-Long Resident of That Community Was 58 Years of Age

S. Gailen Mease of Truro, a resident of Madison county practically all his life, died at his home there Wednesday, April 8, at the age of 58 years.

Mr. Mease was born on a farm south of Truro on May 12, 1900, and spent his life in farming. He was a son of Martin and Anna Mease.

He was married at Osceola on Aug. 4, 1920, to Anah E. Jones. In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dwight Hart; a son, John M. Mease; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Lewis and Jay Mease of Truro.

He was a member of the Truro Congregational church.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Truro Congregational church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Dale Lockart. Burial was made in Ebeneezer cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clifton, W. E. Clifton, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Woods attended the funeral Saturday afternoon at Truro of a cousin, Gailen Mease.

Truro

Gailen Mease passed away at his home in Truro Wednesday night. Funeral services were held at the Congregational Christian church Saturday at 2 p. m. in charge of Rev. Dale Lockhart. Burial was in the Ebenezer cemetery.
