SAMUEL BRANDT OF PATTERSON DIES

Samuel L. Brandt, a resident of the Patterson community for 58 years, died this Tuesday, July 14 at Lorimor, where he had lived the last year. He was 74 years of age.

Mr. Brandt was a native of Johnson county where he was born Oct. 2, 1884, a son of Isrel and Hessie Sible Brandt. He farmed north of Patterson during his residence in this county.

His nearest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Emma Hieb, of Wilder, Ida.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. LeRoy Bussfoger, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was to be made in Mt. Pelier cemetery at Patterson.
