MRS. ED KIPP RITES HELD IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Eddie Kipp, former Winterset woman whose death occurred Oct. 28, at Paradise, Calif., was buried in the cemetery at Paradise following funeral services in the Calvery Baptist church there.

Mrs. Kipp was the former Rosa Myrtle Holloway, daughter of John and Florence Holloway. She was born at Winterset, March 21, 1885, and was 67 years of age at her death.

She was married in 1901 to Ellsworth Gordon. They were parents of four daughters. The husband and father died in 1910.

Her second marriage took place in 1915, to Eddie Kipp. They made their home in Winterset until 1943, when they moved to Bell, California. They had lived at Paradise since 1948.

She was affiliated with the American Legion Auxiliary and the Gold Star mothers of Bell.

One daughter, Mrs. Iris Miller, preceded her in death. She leaves her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Robert White of Paradise, Mrs. Donald Sage of Dunkerton, Ia., and Mrs. Cleta Clark of Chico, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. S. C. Mower of Caldwell, Ida., and Mrs. C. E. Mathews of Yreka, Calif.; a brother, F. B. Holloway of South Gate; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
