Former Resident of This County Was 77 Years old
Albert F. Foster, former Madison county resident, died Monday, Feb. 5th at his farm home in Marshall county at the age of 77 years.
The deceased was born January 26, 1868, in Chillicothe, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Foster. He received his education in the rural schools of Madison county, and was married to Louise Ellen Porter, Aug. 9, 1896, in Peru.
He was employed by the Chicago Great Western railroad for thirty years. In later life he lived at Stockton, and since 1928 had lived on a farm in Marshall county.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Forbes, of Buffalo; four sons, Clarence of Marshalltown, Joseph with the navy overseas, S./Sgt. Edward F. Foster, and Pfc. Raymond L. Foster, a prisoner of war in Japan.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Friends church in Buffalo, and burial was made in the Rose Hill cemetery.
