Earlham, IowaOrville C. Hager, son of Daniel G. and Flossie Hager, was born August 1, 1914 in Brunswick, Nebraska. The first 12 years of his life were spent in Nebraska. At this time the family moved to Casey, Iowa.
On December 24, 1938 he was united in marriage to Doris Spain. One daughter Deloris (Mrs. John Farley) of Casey and one son Don of Earlham were born to this marriage. With the exception of a short time in Illinois and five years in California, he lived in Iowa.
Orville passed away April 15, 1972 at the age of 57 years after a short illness. He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother. He leaves his son and daughter, seven grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Lenard Mains of Greenfield and Mrs. ----Jensen of Greenfield, plus nephews and a a niece, relatives and friends to cherish many fond memories.
