FRANK N. BILL IS BURIED AT HOPEVILLE

Died Sept. 2 at Home of Son, Earl Bill of Near Lorimor

Frank N. Bill died Monday of last week at the home of his son, Earl Bill of near Lorimor, with whom he had made his home in recent years. He was 73 years of age.

Mr. Bill was born in Chicago on Nov. 13, 1872, the son of Jacob Benjamin and Mathilda Hilmes Bill. When he was 4 years old his family settled in Crawford county, Iowa.

He was married April 14, 1897, to Sara Inez Chittenden. They were the parents of three children. The wife and mother died in 1930.

Mr. Bill was both a farmer and a carpenter. He and his family lived in South Dakota for a number of years, then returned to Iowa, living in Ringgold, Union and Madison counties.

In addition to the son, Earl Bill, he is survived by two daughters, Hazel, of Des Moines, and Mrs. Mathilde E. Stroehr of Chicago; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Katheryn Swarm of Vermillion, S. Dak., and Mrs. Mary Hudson of Lena, Ill., and two brothers, Jake Bill of Coleman, S. Dak., and John Bill of Wessington Springs, S. Dak.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Watts Funeral home in Lorimor in charge of the Rev. C. A. Calkins. Burial was made at Hopeville, Ia.
