Walter H. Hall Dies at Earlham

Funeral Services Were Held From Methodist church April 29

Walter H. Hall, a resident of Madison county practically all his life, died Saturday, April 26 at Earlham. He was 73 years of age.

Mr. Hall was born at Atlantic on Feb. 28, 1879, a son of William and Anna Hall. His active life was spent in farming. He moved into Earlham after his health failed about five years ago. He was a member of the Worthington Methodist church.

He was preceded in death by two wives. His first wife, Margaret Griffith of Lorimor, who he married in 1915, died in 1925. His second wife, Sophia Mallet of Lorimor died in 1941. His third wife, the former Minnie Pool of Earlham survives him.

He also leaves a sister, Mrs. M. Cramer of DeSoto; two brothers, Cecil B. Hall of Livingston, Mont., and Loyde D. Hall of Koshkonong, Mo.

Funeral services were held from the Earlham Methodist church April 29 in charge of the Rev. S. R. Overholser, assisted by the Rev. C. A. Crouse. Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.

Walter Hall funeral Held Tuesday

Funeral services were held at the Earlham Methodist church for Walter Hall at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. S. R. Overholser was in charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. C. A. Crouse. A short prayer service was held at the Welch Funeral Home before the church service. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

WALTER HENRY HALL

Walter Henry Hall, son of the late William and Anna Hall, was born February 28, 1879 at Atlantic, Iowa.

He was married to Margaret Griffith of Lorimor in 1915 who passed away March 23, 1925, and two years later he married Sophia Mallet of Lorimor, who died in 1941.

Later he married Minnie Pool, who survives. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. M. Kramer of De Soto, Iowa; two brothers, Cecil B. Hall of Livingston, Montana, and Loyde D. Hall of Koshkonong, Missouri; and numerous other relatives.

He was a member of the Worthington Methodist church. He farmed for many years, and when his health failed five years ago, he moved to Earlham, and passed away at his home at the age of 73 years, one month, and 27 days.
