Death of Wm. W. Johnson

Funeral services for William Warner Johnson were held Thursday, April 17th, at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset. Mr. Johnson had died at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines, on Tuesday, April 15th, at the age of 63 years. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Johnson and was raised in this county. Here his marriage to Nellie Irene Hodges took place in 1890, and they were the parents of a son, Alfred.

Mrs. Johnson died in 1917, and on September 26, 1929, he was married to Minnie Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, his son, Alfred, of Winterset; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Pearl Tull, of Earlham; two brothers, Charles and Ernest, of Winterset, and two grandchildren.

Rev. H. L. Olmstead, pastor of the Church of Christ, conducted the funeral services.
