FIND ALEXANDER DEAD BY ROADSIDE

Dies Driving His Car Home From Feed Lot. Funeral On Tuesday

Otis Alexander, prominent Union township farmer, was found dead in his car by the roadside Sunday evening at eight o’clock.

The body was sitting upright and the car which he had driven slowly had gone off to the roadside and stopped. Death was due to heart disease from which he had suffered for several years.

Mr. Alexander and his hired man, Glen Shoat, had gone to his north farm by the Greenwood school and had taken care of the stock there. Alexander returned home driving slowly. On his way he passed Alexander’s car and noticed that it was going very slow. An hour afterward he saw it standing by the road about 100 yards west of the house. He found Alexander dead. Coroner John A. Leech did not hold an inquest.
