LESTER CRONKHITE DIES

Lester Cronkhite, 34, former Winterset resident, died at the General hospital in Des Moines last Thursday. He had been stricken, suddenly, two days before his death.

Mr. Cronkhite, a jeweler by trade was employed here by R. J. Jones about 8 years ago. He worked here about three years. After leaving here he went to Des Moines and opened a shop in the Liberty building, which he advertised as the "smallest jewelry shop in the world."

Mr. Cronkhite is surved by his widow, and by his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. H. L. Cronkhite of Stuart. Burial was made at Stuart.
