MRS. O. D. ROLLSTIN DIES

Mrs. O. D. Rollstin, former Madison county resident, died at Kirksville, Mo., last Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 15 days.

Mrs. Rollstin was the former Martha Matilda Holloway, daughter of Sarah and Phillip Holloway; she was born near Milford, Ill., on Dec. 1, 1865. When a young woman she was married to Orville D. Rollstin, on Oct. 6, 1886, at Grand Island, Neb.

Most of her time since then had been spent in Madison county, except for a few years in Missouri. She and her husband were the parents of two daughters, who survive her: Mrs. Nellie Travis of Truro, and Mrs. Edna Frost of Kirksville, Mo. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Ella Kestler of Hastings, Neb. Her husband preceded her in death.

The Rev. L. F. Davis conducted her funeral services in the Baptist church, Friday afternoon at two o'clock. The Rev. J. H. Cochrane, Jr., assisted with the services, and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Rollstin were in an automobile accident several years ago, and Mr. Rollstin died from injuries received. Mrs. Rollstin has been in poor health since that time, and pneumonia caused her death.

A message came Wednesday to Mrs. D. E. Travis telling of the death of her mother, Mrs. Martha Ralston at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Frost at Kirkville, Mo., Nov. 15, following a lingering illness.

Funeral was held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Baptist church at Winterset and burial took place at the Winterset cemetery.
