MRS. J. A. RANDALL DIES

Mrs. J. A. Randall, well known Penn township resident, died at her home last Saturday, May 4th at the age of 67 years. Mrs. Randall, the former Anna Pearl Carl, was born in Jasper county, January 30, 1873. On April 14, 1892, she was married to James A. Randall and they were the parents of one son, Carl.

Mrs. Randall spent her early life in or near DeSoto, moving to Penn township in 1909. Since then Penn township has been her home with the exception of three years, when she lived on a farm near DeSoto.

Mrs. Randall is survived by her husband, their son, Carl of Des Moines, and four grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Erixson of Des Moines, and Mrs. ----Rowe of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held at the Penn Center church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Watson of New Virginia and burial was made in the church cemetery.
