VERSA FAUST, St. Charles

Graveside services for Versa Faust, 83, will be held at St. Charles Cemetery on Thurs., Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Ed Posten will officiate. Mrs. Faust died October 13, 1992 at Winterset Care Center South.

She was born in Madison County on January 26, 1909, to Noah and Rosa (Stevens) Oglesbee. She married Forest Faust on October 4, 1933, in Winterset. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the St. Charles area. She was employed at Iowa Statehouse Agricultural Department and also worked as a seamstress. She was a member of the St. Charles Parish Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and five brothers and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include a brother, Harley Oglesbee and wife, Eva of Lorimor, and a sister-in-law, Cleta Oglesbee of Winterset.

VERSA FAUST

Versa Faust, daughter, of Noah W. and Rosa Stevens Oglesbee, was born Jan. 26, 1909, in Madison County and died Oct. 13, 1992, at the Winterset Care Center South in Winterset. She was 83.

A life time resident of the St. Charles area, she received her education in the Madison County country schools. She married Forest Faust on Oct. 4, 1933, at Winterset.

Mrs. Faust was employed by the Iowa Statehouse Agricultural Department and was a seamstress at the Glove Factory.

Mrs. Faust was a member of the St. Charles Parish Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forest; five brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Faust is survived by a brother, Harley Oglesbee and his wife, Eva of Lorimor and sister-in-law, Cleta Oglesbee of Winterset.

Graveside services for Mrs. Faust were at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in the St. Charles Cemetery. The Rev. Ed Posten of St. Charles officiated.

Arrangements were through Kale Funeral Home in Truro.
