Thursday, April 19, 1934DEATH OF GLENN FISHER
Glenn Fisher, 23 years old, of Barney, died in the Coakley clinic at Creston last Thursday from injuries sustained 19 days previously in a motor accident.
Fisher, who was an aviator, suffered a fractured skull when the car he was driving, accompanied by Barbara Poole, overturned north of Mt. Ayr.
Louis Glenn Fisher was born at Barney on August 22, 1910, the son of Thomas M. and Nellie Read Fisher. He grew to manhood in that vicinity. His last few years were spent in the study of aviation. Besides his father and mother he is survived by four brothers, Warren of Peru, Levi of Lorimor, and David and Ray of Barney, and three sisters, Mabel of Des Moines and Madeline and Ruth of Barney.
Funeral services were conducted from the Barney Church of Christ at 2 p. m. April 15th, by the Rev. H. L. Olmstead of Winterset.
