Death of E. L. Jackson

Ernest Leroy Jackson, died at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, on July 13 (1936). He was 52 years of age and had been in ill health for a number of years.

Mr. Jackson was the son of Nelson and Almira Jackson and was born March 11, 1884 in Adair county. On December 2, 1907, he was married to Lillie Hildebrand at Winterset. They were the parents of three children; Eldon, Myrtle and Elmer.

In addition to the children, he leaves his widow; six brothers, Andrew Jackson of Des Moines, Edward Jackson of Wisconsin, Wesley Jackson of Sigourney, Roger Jackson of Lawton, Oklahoma and Odell and Enos Jackson of Eldon; and five sisters, Mrs. F. O. Bell of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Charlie Endaily of Galva, Minnesota, Mrs. Ray White of Des Moines and Mrs. J. O. Hircock and Mrs. C. L. Gray of Winterset.

Funeral services were conducted last Thursday from the Ramsey Richards funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. H. L. Olmstead, pastor of the Church of Christ
