Death of Marion Johnson

Marion Johnson, a long-time resident of Madison county, died Tuesday at his home in the southwest part of Winterset after an extended illness.

Mr. Johnson had lived most of his life in the vicinity of Webster. About 12 years ago he moved to Winterset, where he had since resided.

Immediate relatives are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Blair and two sons, Walter and Rex Johnson, all of this county.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the Tidrick Funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. L. Olmstead, pastor of the Church of Christ. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
