SAM MILLER DIED OF HEART ATTACK

Services Held Saturday With Burial in Winterset Cemetery

Samuel S. Miller, a widely and favorably known resident of Madison county for the past 40 years, succumbed to a heart attack at his home northeast of Winterset last Thursday. He was 68 years of age.

Mr. Miller was born in Dark county, Ohio, on March 17, 1870. He came to Iowa with his parents at an early age, and for the past two decades had lived near Winterset.

He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Charles Cook of Winterset, Mrs. Lizie Copeland of West Des Moines, and Mrs. Jane Loechner of Ludell, Kan.

Funeral services were held from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home here last Saturday, conducted by the Rev. J. R. McNichols, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Heart Attack Is Fatal to S. Miller

Samuel S. Miller, a resident of Madison county for the past forty years, was found dead at his farm home northeast of Winterset Thursday evening, following a heart attack.

Samuel Miller, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Minrod Miller, was born in Dark county, Ohio, March 17, 1870. He came to Iowa with his parents at an early age and for the past 40 years has lived in Madison county. He died at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 22 days.

The surviving relatives are: three sisters, Mrs. Charles Cook of Winterset; Mrs. Lizzie Copeland of West Des Moines; and Mrs. Jane Loechner of Ludell, Kansas; other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, Saturday afternoon at two o’clock. The Rev. J. R. McNichols, pastor of the Methodist church, conducted the service. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
