July 17, 1957AARON W. HOWELL DIES IN DAKOTA
Word was received in Madison county Tuesday of the death of Aaron W. Howell, former Lee township resident, at his home in Volga, South Dakota, Monday night, July 15th. Mr. Howell, who was in his 70's was a son of Nelson and Sarah Howell and was born in Lee township and resided there until he and his family moved to Volga 25 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Lenocker; they observed their Golden Wedding anniversary last year. He also leaves their two sons, Wayne at home and Dale (Ted) who resides near Volga, and two brothers, Frank Howell of Breakenridge, Colorado and Squire Howell of Ontario, Canada.
Funeral and burial services are being held at Volga, Thursday afternoon. His nephew, Hugo Howell of Lee township and Bill Dippold, a former neighbor, are planning to drive to Volga tomorrow for the services.
