This community was shocked on Thursday to learn of the unfortunate accident at Conger, by which Mr. and Mrs. Elza Blair, who had just recently removed to that place from Madison county, lost their only child, a bright little boy about two years of age.
The child was playing on the railroad track and was run down and crushed to death by a passing train. The funeral was held at the Blair Chapel cemetery on Friday afternoon. The distressed parents have the full sympathy of the entire community.
