MRS. O. E. GREENLEY SUCCUMBED THURSDAY

Passes At Madison County Farm at Age of 80 Years

Mrs. Oliver F. Greenley died last Thursday at the Madison county farm where she had been making her home for a number of years. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Greenley was the former Katherine Lucy Plummer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Caleb Plummer, and was born at Brooklyn on April 4, 1859. At the age of 13 years she moved with her parents to Avoca.

She was married to Oliver Franklin Greenley on March 7, 1877. They were the parents of two children, a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Smith, who preceded her mother in death, and a son, C. E. Greenley.

She leaves the son; a sister, Mrs. Lidy Blassingham of Ankeny; two grandsons, Francis Smith of Newton and Everett Smith of Ankeny; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. J. R. McNichols of the Methodist church here. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
