GRACE BENSON RAMSEY

Grace Benson Ramsey, youngest daughter of Thomas and Emma Benson, was born April 5, 1882 and passed on to her reward on December 31, 1967.

She was married to Homer Ramsey and they made their home in the Earlham vicinity for many years.

Their five children were born here and after they were grown, Grace and Homer lived in California for several years.

They returned to Earlham in 1937 and lived here until Homer’s death in 1940.

Since that time she has resided in California to be near her children.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Vernon and Hugh.

She is survived by two daughters, Lora Bond of Huntington Park, California, Esther Fogg of Downey, Calif.; a son, William Ramsey, of South Gate, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Huffman of Dexter.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
