MRS. W. E. YOUTSLER

Mrs. W. E. Youtsler, a former resident of Earlham, died in Pioneer Memorial hospital, Brawley, California on June 2, 1967. Burial services were held for her at Imperial Valley Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Harold F. Debries, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Brawley.

Mrs. Youtsler was born in Chicago September 7, 1880, grew up, and was educated there. She was married to the Rev. William E. Youtsler October 2, 1899 in Oswego, Illinois where he had his first pastorate. She worked with her husband during his 42 years of pastoral work in Iowa and Illinois churches. When Mr. Youtsler retired from the ministry, they moved to Earlham and lived here until his death in 1943. Mrs. Youtsler continued to live here until she felt the need of being near some members of her family, when she moved to Brawley, California, where her son, William jr and family lived. She maintained her own home until health made it necessary to move into a convalescent hospital in El Centro.

She is survived by her son, William, jr in California, a son, Dr. James S. Youtsler of Saratoga Springs, New York, three granddaughters, one grandson, a sister, Mrs. Frank S Thorpe, of Cassopolis, Michigan and many friends.
