DONALD LITTLE KILLED IN CRASH WEDNESDAY

One man was killed and three persons seriously hurt in an automobile wreck which occurred about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon on highway No. 92, about a mile east of Patterson.

The victim was Donald Little (see Transcriber's note), 44-year-old Winterset resident, who was instantly killed when the car in which he was riding went out of control and turned over. Details of the accident were unavailable as the Madisonian went to press.

The other three occupants of the car were also seriously hurt. They were Little's 5-year-old son, Donald, and Mr. and Mrs. Chester W. Allen, all of Winterset. The boy and Mrs. Allen were seriously cut and bruised and apparently suffered broken arms. Mr. Allen appeared to be the least seriously injured.

Mr. Little, who was killed, leaves a wife and four other children.

Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published. This obituary has a major error in it. The person who died was Clarence Vernon Little (see separate obit). His son, Donald, survived the accident and is still living as of 2008. Nobody by the name of Donald died in this accident.
