Funeral Services Were Held Sunday From Methodist Church There
St. Charles--(Special)--Will Attig, a life-long resident of this community, died last Friday at hie home three miles southwest of St. Charles. He was 56 years of age.
Mr. Attig's death ended a long period of failing health. He was held in high esteem throughout the community.
He is survived by a son, Forrest; two grandchildren in Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. Cathryn Fleck and Mrs. Anna Wyatt of St. Charles; Mrs. Lena Clarke of Baxter; and Mrs. Lillie Stoneman of Truro; and two brothers, John Attig of St. Charles and the Rev. F. G. Attig of Murphysboro, Ill. All of these relatives were present at the funeral services which were held on Sunday from the M. E. church, in charge of the Rev. Clayton P. Shepherd of the Christian church. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
