St. Charles--(Special)--Dec. 12.--
Mrs. Mattie Fulton, 77, passed away early Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ilo Kerr where she had made her home for the past two years. She was an old pioneer resident of this community, having spent her entire life in and near St. Charles, and had been in very poor health for a number of years.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ilo Kerr, Mrs. Rose Wise and Doris at home, and one son, Ray of Des Moines, and a number of grandchildren.
Her husband, J. W. Fulton preceded her in death twenty-one years.
No funeral arrangement had been made at the time of this writing.

Mrs. Martha Fulton, who has been suffering for several months with heart trouble, died early Monday morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ilo Fulton Kerr, with whom she had been living since her illness.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ilo Kerr, Mrs. P. S. Wise and Doris Fulton of St. Charles; one son, Ray Fulton of Des Moines and several grandchildren, nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Her husband, James Fulton, died in 1914, on the farm West of St. Charles. Since that time she has lived in St. Charles.
Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at the Christian church here with interment in the St. Charles cemetery.
