Word was received here last week of the death of Charles E. Weeks, of Hotchkiss, Colo. Mr. Weeks, who was 72 years of age, lived for a number of years in this county near Monroe Center. His funeral and burial services were held at Hotchkiss, Friday.
He is survived by a brother and two sisters, who reside in this county: Bert Weeks, and Mrs. T. E. Smith of Macksburg, and Mrs. Cook Nicholson of Winterset. He also leaves a niece, Mrs. John Clarkson of Winterset. His brother, Bert Weeks, went to Colorado to attend the funeral services.
