Funeral Rites Held Monday at Tidrick's Funeral Home
Mrs. Kathryn Wright, wife of Ray Wright of Winterset, died at her home here last Thursday. She was 51 years of age.
Death came as the result of a heart attack last Thursday evening.
Mrs. Wright was the former Kathryn B. Wentz, and was born Oct. 15, 1887, near Albia. As a child she moved with her family to Glenwood, where she lived until her marriage on Feb. 23, 1907 to Mr. Wright. Since then her home had been in Winterset.
She was a member of the Christian church and an active member of the Royal Neighbor lodge.
Mrs. Wright leaves her husband and two children, Paul Wright and Mrs. Margaret Brittain, both of Los Angeles, Cal. Two children, Ralph and Mona died in infancy. She also leaves three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Ira McAllister of Iowa City, and Mrs. Pearl Reid, Mrs. Amy Harris and Charles Wentz of Omaha; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Tidrick funeral home Monday, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery north of Winterset.
